The concept started after the success of El Primo Mexican Grill in Hamilton Square, when the owners, originally from Atlanta, moved to Columbus and saw a need for truly traditional Mexican cuisine in Uptown.
From day one, the goal was simple: bring the dishes they love from home to the heart of Columbus. And they’ve done just that—with crowd-favorites like their Authentic Mexican Tacos served on warm corn tortillas with cilantro and raw onions, and craveable additions like Quesabirria and Nacho Fries, inspired by popular street eats in Mexico.
El Primo isn’t interested in Americanizing their menu to fit trends—they’re proud to share what’s already delicious. Whether you go for tacos, burritos, bowls, or plates, every dish is rooted in tradition, prepared with joy, and packed with flavor.
